Transforming Lives of Teen Girls
The Butterfly Project began with one teacher's desire to reach her female students beyond the classroom setting. She noticed 90% of the young ladies were not able to grow academically because of the lack of guidance at home and within the community. In 2012, The Butterfly Project was created to establish healthy relationships, healthy life style behaviors, and prepare for various levels and areas of higher education. The program is designed for Junior High and High School aged girls who may have felt left behind and not cared for. We partner with the parents and communities to reach out to each teen girl providing hope, exposure, training skills, and love. We believe if today's generation know someone cares, then that truth will bring forth our future leaders and they will be fully equip and prepared to lead.
